The weekend saw the start of many of the road, rural development, and other infrastructure projects that Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma had pledged.
On January 15, during the commencement of his second term, Uzodimma promised to oversee large-scale rural road projects to guarantee development that is focused on the rural areas in the more than 640 autonomous communities across the state’s 27 local councils.
Work has started on the 8.4-kilometer Toronto/Uratta/Uzoagba Road and its 2.7-kilometer branch, the MCC Toronto/Uratta/Uzoagba Road from Owerri, which connect the two communities.
