Russian forces have killed three people in southern Ukraine, including in the vital Black Sea port city of Odesa, officials reported on Wednesday.
Since the onset of the invasion in February 2022, Russia has intensified its nocturnal assaults on urban centers across Ukraine.
According to Oleg Kiper, the governor of the Odesa region, the aggressor specifically targeted port infrastructure. “Unfortunately, two people were killed — a security guard and a truck driver,” Kiper stated. The exact cause of death remains uncertain, as it is unclear whether the fatalities resulted from direct missile impacts or debris from intercepted projectiles.
