A shocking and tragic event has revealed that two residents were brutally murdered in broad daylight in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State. The incident occurred on Tuesday when a group of hooded men, suspected to be enforcing a sit-at-home order, attacked and killed two individuals around Old Express off Sameck Junction, within the Aba North Local Government Area.
The victims were identified as a caretaker and another individual whose identity has not yet been ascertained. The group of boys knocked on the doors of the compound before shooting the caretaker in front of his residence. No group has claimed responsibility for the killings, leaving the residents in fear.
