Tapswap Delays Token Allocation, Promises Better Future for Users

Tapswap, the innovative tap-to-earn app powered by the TON Blockchain, has announced a delay in its token allocation to users, now rescheduled for the third quarter of the year. This update comes as the app, which launched on February 15, 2024, has rapidly gained popularity, especially among Nigerian users, boasting over 50 million users who engage by tapping their phone screens to mine coins.

In a detailed update shared on their official X account, Tapswap’s management explained the rationale behind the postponement. They emphasized the necessity of this delay to ensure a fair and profitable launch, as the team is currently engaged in talks with tier 1 exchanges globally. These discussions aim to protect the game from scammers and ensure a successful token launch.

The management reassured users that the delay is in their best interest. By taking extra time, Tapswap aims to refine its tokenomics and launch strategy, ensuring that the Q3 launch is beneficial for all stakeholders. “This level of attention requires much more detailed work on tokenomics and the right launch strategy. And that means extra time,” the management stated.
