“STOP LINKING JUNIOR POPE’S DEATH TO MARINE KINGDOM” – PROPHET FUFEYIN WARNS

Prophet Fufeyin, the revered leader of Christ Mercy Land Church in Warri, Delta State, has issued a stern warning against associating the untimely passing of Nollywood actor Junior Pope with the so-called marine kingdom. Responding to claims by alleged worshippers of marine deities linking the actor’s demise to spiritual sacrifices, Prophet Fufeyin emphasized the supremacy of Jesus Christ’s power over any other force.

Amidst the outpouring of prayers and condolences for the late actor, a controversial assertion attributing the tragic boat accident to marine spirits caught the attention of the outspoken clergyman. A self-proclaimed agent of the marine kingdom purported that the accident resulted from a demanded sacrifice to water spirits, advocating for the deceased and his companions to be buried alongside the River Niger, where the incident occurred.

In a video message, Prophet Fufeyin vehemently refuted these claims, asserting that the power of water pales in comparison to the power of Jesus Christ. As debates arise among Nigerians regarding the proposed burial of the actor by the riverbank to appease alleged marine spirits, social media users have expressed varied opinions.

@Ada__Okoro denounced the superstitions, advocating against the burial by the river, while @JumokeOlawuyi_ praised Prophet Fufeyin’s stand against what they deemed an anti-Christian narrative, affirming the authority of Jesus Christ over all powers.
