A retired teacher, Mr. Ike Okoye, has been arrested by the Anambra State Government for allegations of sexually molesting young boys in the community.
The retired teacher, Mr. Ike Okoye, was apprehended by the Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Women and Social Welfare in collaboration with operatives of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra.
Mr. Okoye, a resident of Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, is accused of molesting and engaging in same-sex activities with young boys in the community.
The incident was reported to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, according to a statement on Wednesday by Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, the Media Aide to the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo.
The President-General of Isuofia People’s Assembly reported the incident to the Ministry.
