President Tinubu Set to Watch AFCON 2023 Final Live in Cote d’Ivoire

Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football Federations (CAF), has confirmed that Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be attending the highly anticipated 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.

The showdown between Nigeria and hosts Cote d’Ivoire is scheduled to take place at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday. The announcement came during Motsepe’s press conference at the Palace de la Culture in Trechville, Abidjan, where he also fielded questions about Africa’s potential bid to host the World Cup again.
