The Nigerian Police Force has made significant progress in restoring security and combating crime at Ohoro Forest, Ughelli Delta State. Following the recent ambush that resulted in the loss of police rifles, authorities have taken swift action to address the situation.
The Force Intelligence Department Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) successfully recovered ten of the stolen firearms. Engaging the suspects in a gun battle, the operatives neutralized some of the assailants and retrieved additional weapons used in the attack.
Moreover, the police have made strides in combating the kidnapping crisis along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Six members of a notorious kidnapping gang have been apprehended and are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.
