The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the tragic demise of a 23-year-old student from Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana, Ebonyi State. Chinedu Hope was allegedly drugged to death by his friend on his birthday, sparking shock and outrage in the community.
Chinedu was reportedly lured by his friend, Dan, to a hideout operated by a notorious drug dealer known as Yoko in Umuodudu Ibeku. Despite Chinedu’s refusal to partake in hard drugs, he was forcefully administered a lethal mixture of methamphetamine and other substances, leading to his untimely death.
