The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State’s immediate past chairman, Dr. Ben Nwoye, has criticized the party for allegedly suspending Ginika Tor, the federal commissioner who represents Enugu State on the Federal Character Commission, and has advised the leadership to refrain from actions that could devastate the party in the South East.
Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the chairman of the South East APC zone, had stated in a statement on Tuesday that the APC’s Enugu State chapter had ratified Tor’s alleged suspension.
The federal character commissioner was earlier suspended by the Enugu APC due to allegations of excessive misconduct, anti-party activities, and an attempt to establish a parallel executive in the state. It stated that a party disciplinary committee had reviewed two of the petitions it had received against the federal commissioner.
