Nollywood has again been plunged into mourning with the passing of one of its esteemed veterans, Zulu Adigwe.
Reports indicate that he departed from this world on the evening of Tuesday, April 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy cherished by many.
The news was shared by movie producer Stanley Nwoko via an Instagram post, where he expressed deep sorrow over the loss. “I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor. Late Mr. Zulu Adibe… What caused his death is yet to be revealed. Rest in peace, Good actor,” he wrote.
While the cause of his demise remains undisclosed, unconfirmed reports suggest that the actor had been grappling with an undisclosed illness.

Hailing from Enugu, Zulu Adigwe rose to prominence for his memorable portrayal of Mr. B in the beloved sitcom “Basi and Company.” His talent graced the screens in various productions including “Issakaba,” “Top Secret,” “Last Ofalla,” “The Kingmaker,” “After Dawn,” “Divided Hearts,” and “City of Kings.”
Tragically, Zulu Adigwe’s passing marks the fourth loss to hit the industry in the past eight weeks, following the demise of John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), Amaechi Monagor, and Jr. Pope.
