Engr. Anike emerged as the candidate with the highest number of votes in the September 21st council elections. While awaiting the official declaration by the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC), it is widely anticipated that he will be announced as the duly elected Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area.
