The Nigerian Army has initiated the application process for non-tradesmen and women, inviting interested individuals to apply for various positions.
Announcing the recruitment drive on its official platform, the Army disclosed that the application window spans from May 3 to May 4, 2024, emphasizing that the process is free of charge.
According to the announcement, candidates who meet the criteria will undergo the State Recruitment Screening Exercise scheduled from June 20 to July 3, 2024.
The entry requirements include Nigerian citizenship, possession of a National Identity Card or NIN slip, and adherence to physical and psychological fitness standards set by the Nigerian Army.
Moreover, applicants must have a clean legal record, with a minimum of four passes in relevant examinations such as WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.

For tradesmen and women, additional qualifications such as TRADE TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE are required, as outlined on the recruitment website.
Candidates must also meet age and height criteria, with non-tradesmen/women aged between 18 and 22, and tradesmen/women not exceeding 26 years as of June 30, 2024.
