In a recent statement, Tappi announced its strategic move, building upon its successful operations in Kenya and Nigeria. Tappi’s entry into Côte d’Ivoire offers MSMEs access to its Software as a Service (SaaS) platform and enterprise-grade tools at an affordable rate of $8 per month. Through its collaboration with MTN Côte d’Ivoire, the platform will be accessible to the telecom’s vast customer base of 17 million users. Integrated data bundles will enable MTN customers to seamlessly leverage Tappi’s services, enhancing their online presence, fostering trust, and expanding their reach to new clientele.

Kenfield Griffith, CEO and co-founder of Tappi, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, highlighting Côte d’Ivoire’s robust GDP growth rate of 6.9%. Since its inception in 2022, Tappi has experienced rapid growth, garnering verified reviews on over $3 million in consumer transactions and engaging with over 150,000 consumers. Despite SMEs comprising over 98% of total businesses in Côte d’Ivoire, many still struggle to establish a credible online presence due to complexities in existing tools and payment requirements.
