Doris Uzoka-Anite, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, and her Innovation, Science, and Technology counterpart, Uche Nnaji, are among the high-profile dignitaries expected to attend the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair, which begins on Friday. Governor Peter Mbah, the principal host, and the other four governors will attend the fair to greet visitors, vendors, and dignitaries. Odeiga Jideonwo, president of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining, and Agriculture (ECCIMA), announced this in Enugu on Thursday.
The fair will run from April 5 to 15. Mr Jideonwo stated that, in addition to the VIP visitors, numerous business and industry leaders would be there. The chamber’s president stated that the 35th fair would be a wonderful experience for all attendees, since the chamber “is throwing its gates open for the first time.”

“This is something we have not done in the past 34 years of organizing the yearly fair. So, it will be free of charge. We are also providing free shuttle buses from the metropolis centre—Shoprite axis—for all attending the fair.
“These and other conveniences we are providing will translate to more traffic at the fairground, more money in the pockets of shoppers, as well as subsequent turnover for exhibitors,” he added.
