Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman has reappointed Mr. Moses Azubuike Okezie- Okafor as the state’s director general for research and development, demonstrating his dedication to merit, unity, and diversity.
Anambra State native Okezie-Okafor has an impressive background in this role. He was the first and only person to hold the position to date, having been appointed by previous Governor Yahaya Bello in 2016 and then again in 2020.
Ododo’s ‘third-term’ appointment is indicative of the governor’s pan-Nigerian perspective and represents yet another acknowledgement of his competence.
Since taking office on January 27, Ododo has made talent and outstanding performance a priority in his attempts to foster collaboration and integration both inside and outside of Kogi State.
“I am deeply humbled by this reappointment and the continued trust placed in me by the governors and people of Kogi State,” stated Okezie-Okafor.
“My focus remains on delivering my assignment with maximum excellence, especially driving research and development initiatives that decisively address the state’s challenges and help to unlock her multidimensional potential for accelerated and sustainable growth.”
