Kevin Spacey, the renowned Hollywood actor, vehemently refutes fresh claims of inappropriate sexual conduct as a UK television documentary, “Spacey Unmasked,” gears up for release next week.
In an interview with UK journalist Dan Wootton, Spacey, a two-time Oscar winner, firmly denies the allegations brought forth by ten men, dating back to incidents between 1976 and 2013, citing them as “unwanted sexual behavior.”
Despite being cleared of sexual assault charges in both the United States and Britain, Spacey addresses the allegations head-on, expressing his refusal to accept responsibility for fabricated or exaggerated accusations.
The documentary features accounts from individuals not involved in previous court cases, such as former actor Ruari Cannon, who recounts an alleged incident from 2013. Spacey maintains his innocence, emphasizing his accountability for past actions but denying any illegal conduct.
Wootton, who recently transitioned from GB News to online broadcasting, facilitated the interview where Spacey candidly discusses the repercussions of the allegations on his career, describing it as a “life sentence.”
Spacey’s once illustrious career has been marred by allegations emerging in 2017 amidst the #MeToo movement, a narrative he has consistently refuted. Despite legal vindication, the actor laments the enduring impact on his professional opportunities post-acquittal.
