In a bid to bolster connectivity and foster easier travel between Kenya and Nigeria, Kenya Airways is set to launch daily flights to Nigeria, announced by Samuel Mogere, the acting Kenyan High Commissioner to Nigeria, during the Magical Kenya roadshow in Abuja.
The move is part of a broader initiative to promote tourism and enhance trade relations between the two nations. Mogere highlighted the significance of facilitating seamless travel, emphasizing Kenya’s commitment to fostering unity and accessibility within Africa.
Additionally, Kenya has streamlined its visa application process with the introduction of an online e-visa system, simplifying travel arrangements for visitors to the country.

Currently, Kenya Airways operates four weekly flights between Nairobi and Abuja, with plans to expand its services to a daily schedule, providing increased flexibility and convenience for travelers.
The airline’s efforts align with Kenya’s broader economic agenda, including its involvement in the African Continental Free Trade Area, aimed at driving sustainable growth and fostering pan-African cooperation.
Despite recent challenges, such as restrictions imposed by Tanzania, this airways remains steadfast in its commitment to enhancing connectivity and forging strategic partnerships, exemplified by its recent codeshare agreement with Air Europa, aimed at providing passengers with expanded access to global destinations.
