Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, offered condolences and assistance to the family of the late Nollywood makeup artist, Abigael Frederick, who tragically lost her life in a recent boat accident along with four other film practitioners, including Junior Pope.
In a heartfelt gesture, Governor Eno personally visited the family compound in Ikot Udoma, Eket Local Government Area, where he expressed his deep emotions and consoled the grieving family members.
Praising Frederick’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her passion, Governor Eno lamented the untimely loss of a talented young individual who had recently completed her youth service and was pursuing her dreams.
As a token of support, Governor Eno announced an automatic civil service job for the deceased’s elder sister and directed the renovation of the family house to modern standards. Additionally, he pledged assistance for Frederick’s two younger sisters, who are currently pursuing their education at the University of Uyo.
The governor’s compassionate actions reflect the government’s commitment to uplifting and supporting its citizens, especially during times of tragedy.
