The Eastern Security Network (ESN) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has refuted allegations that it participated in an illegal intruder attack on a camp in Imo State.
Bombs and ammunition were found in the joint military operations’ purported IPOB/ESN Supreme Headquarters in Imo, which they claimed to have destroyed.
IPOB insisted in a statement released on Saturday by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, that the accused offenders were infiltrators hired and supported by Simon Ekpa, a double agent in Finland, rather than members of the ESN.
IPOB added that IPOB and ESN are leading the charge in the battle against terrorism and criminal activity in Biafra Land and that the cause for Biafra independence is a responsible one.
