Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, has named Enyinnaya Onuegbu, his first Commissioner for Lands and Survey and later Commissioner for Power, as the head of his administration’s political bureau.
Onuegbu’s appointment is effective immediately, according to a statement released by Uzodinma and signed by his chief press secretary and media adviser, Oguwike Nwachuku.
Onuegbu held the positions of Head Political Bureau and Chief Political Adviser till Governor Uzodimma recently dissolved his government.
According to Uzodimma, Onuegbu, an ex-officio member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has proven his ability to steer the Party via his many years of active involvement in the legal field. He is also a devoted member of the Party.
Governor Uzodimma congratulated Onuegbu and asked him to keep up his dedication to the goals of the 3-R Government Imo State. He was to use his extensive background in the political, legal, and traditional institutions in the office given to his care.
