High Chief Ken Ifekudu is a philanthropist who has come out to refute reports that he is running for governor of Anambra in 2025.
According to information obtained by The Nigerian Tribune, several internet outlets recently disseminated fake information on social media concerning Chief Ken Ifekudu’s alleged interest in the Anambra government house.
Chief Ifekudu, however, dismissed any interest in politics in response to the story. He states that he has no plans to run for governor or take a political appointment.
Ifekudu declared that he is totally focused on his business ventures and feels that getting involved in politics would be a diversion.

In response to suggestions that his charitable giving is connected to his future goals, Ifekudu made it clear that being a leader does not require aiding others.
He clarified that his experiences and upbringing had shaped his humanitarian endeavors for a considerable amount of time.
Ifekudu reiterated his disinterest in holding public office, advising the people of Anambra to ignore such claims completely. He further stated that he has no plans to run for office in Anambra or anywhere else in the future.
