According to Mr. Augustine Okutu, a community health officer at the Ijiraga Community Primary Healthcare Center in the Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, there is a growing need for vaccines and other medical supplies in the state’s northern regions.
According to him, the fact that vaccines are more affordable and widely accessible because they are transported by drones to isolated regions has encouraged people to want more.
He talked to reporters who had come to the facility to find out how well drones work for delivering medications, vaccines, and other medical supplies to remote parts of the state.
