Chief Willie Obiano, the immediate previous governor of Anambra State, has emphasized the value of responsible government and urged Governor Chukwuma Soludo to make sure that all public servants follow moral standards in their job.
The former governor urged Soludo to address what he described as the excesses of certain government officials in the performance of their duties in a statement issued by his spokesman, Tony Nezianya.

Obiano encouraged Soludo to keep up the good work and applauded his endeavors in the areas of healthcare, education, and road construction.
He requested Soludo’s attention to several “legacy projects” left behind by his administration, particularly the Anambra International Cargo and passenger airport, Umueri.
‘’The airport is a significant infrastructure, and its proper maintenance will provide economic opportunities and improved transportation for Ndi Anambra. Do not abandon these projects but continue their maintenance and development to benefit the people of Anambra,” he said.
