FG Distributes Rice, Fertilizers, and Palliatives to the Less Privileged in Anambra

In a bid to alleviate economic hardship, the Federal Government has distributed more than 5,000 (10kg) bags of rice, 500 bags of fertilizers, 500 PoS machines, and 300 gas cylinders to the underprivileged in Anambra State. This initiative was spearheaded by the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, at the Ndi Ichie Hall, Umudioka community, Awka South Local Government Area, on Wednesday.

Minister Kennedy-Ohanenye reassured the beneficiaries that President Bola Tinubu remains committed to improving their welfare and security. She emphasized that the distribution of palliatives is part of the president’s strategy to mitigate the impacts of challenging economic policies.

During her speech, the minister urged patience from Nigerians, explaining that President Tinubu is working tirelessly to fix the numerous issues he inherited upon assuming office. She highlighted that these palliatives are designed to help ease the difficulties caused by current economic changes.

Kennedy-Ohanenye personally supervised the distribution to ensure that the items reached the intended recipients, assuring the public that the era of palliative diversion is over.
