The Enugu Traditional Rulers Council’s reconstruction has been accepted by Governor Peter Mbah. Additionally, he has appointed new members to the Hospital Management Board and the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC). This was disclosed on Thursday in Enugu by Chidiebere Onyia, the state secretary.
Samuel Asadu is the head of the Enugu Traditional Rulers Council; Julius Nnaji is the first deputy chairman; G.N. Madu is the second deputy chairman; and Hebert Ukuta is the third deputy chairman. The others are H.C. Eze, the third grand patron, Augustine Otiji, the second grand patron, Abel Nwobodo, and Fidelis Nwatu, the grand patron. In line with the declaration, Solomon Edeh, Chinenyenwa Ogbu, and George Ani were reappointed as members of ENSIEC, and Christian Ngwu was named chairman.
The other members are Paully Eze, Emmanuel Ogbodo, Emeka Ukwuaba, Arthur Ifeanyi Ede, and Ifesinachi Umeobika, who will serve as secretary. According to the release, the governor of Enugu also named Edith Okolo as head of the Enugu State Agency for Universal Health Coverage and Eric Odo as chairman of the Enugu State Hospital Management Board. The announcement states that the appointments are effective immediately.
