Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has allocated a total of N44.1 million in bursaries to support 294 indigenes of Enugu State currently pursuing legal education across seven Nigerian Law School campuses nationwide. The initiative, aimed at enhancing human capital development, provided each beneficiary with N150,000 to alleviate financial burdens.
In addition to the bursaries, Governor Mbah granted a N12 million scholarship to Miss Chidiogo Igwebuike from Ukana, Udi LGA, Enugu State. The scholarship will facilitate her training as a pilot at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Expressing their gratitude, members of the National Association of Enugu State Law Students highlighted the significance of the governor’s support amidst economic challenges, affirming his commitment to educational advancement within the state. They praised his dedication to empowering Enugu State indigenes and fostering progress.
Governor Mbah’s recent contributions underscore his administration’s focus on educational and youth development, ensuring a brighter future for Enugu State.
