Anambra State’s Ekwusigo Local Government Area’s transition committee chairman, Chimezie Obi, revealed that Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo places a high value on healthcare service.
Speaking at the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme (AHIS) enrollment ceremony for all local government employees in Ozubulu, the headquarters of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Obi characterized the program as a well-thought-out state health initiative designed to provide the people of the state with effective, efficient, accessible, and reasonably priced healthcare services.
He demanded that all state residents enter the AHIS in order to take advantage of the programme’s many healthcare benefits.

Obi commended Governor Soludo for his developmental efforts in all areas of the state economy, particularly the renovation of healthcare facilities in all 326 electoral wards, the continuous provision of public water supply, and functional education. He also urged the people of the state to be aware of their responsibilities, particularly in relation to paying government-approved taxes and levies, which will allow the government to continue providing better services to them.
He insisted that Ekwusigo Local Government Area would receive the people-oriented policies and programs of the Soludo government for the benefit of the local populace.
