According to the Ebonyi State Government, it is luring investors to the region with an atmosphere that is conducive to business and would ensure success. During the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair, Chief Oguzorkanu Offia-Nwali, the state Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Business Development, made this statement on the Ebonyi State Special Day.
Offia-Nwali claimed the serene business environment in the state had been luring investors into the state, saying, “The business environment in the state is so serene that investors troop in to discuss the establishment of multinational industries in various economic sectors.
“As a government, we do not joke with genuine and serious investors as we provide virtually everything to make them comfortable and kick-off production of goods and services without hitches.”
Offia-Nwali said that through public reforms, the state government had an impact on trade, investment, the development of human capital, health, water and sanitation, energy, and other areas. He mentioned that a business-friendly atmosphere has been established and that the building material market in Ebonyi State is completely revitalising.
