Renowned dancer and performer, Korra Obidi, has announced her pursuit of legal action to assert her parental rights, turning to the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe to finance her legal fees.
Expressing gratitude for the support received, Obidi conveyed her determination in an update regarding the GoFundMe campaign, stating, “I am so elated, I want to say thank you guys, there are no words to explain how grateful I am for you.”
Her decision to seek legal recourse stems from ongoing struggles with her former partner, with whom she is in a contentious split, aiming to secure her rights as a mother and ensure unrestricted access to her children.
In a heartfelt plea for assistance, Obidi emphasized the importance of reclaiming her rights, stating, “My children and the person who abused them will be brought to book. My rights as a mother will be reinstated.”
Facing challenges including restrictions on sharing content featuring her children on social media, Obidi highlighted the urgency of the situation, appealing for support to secure legal representation.
