The new Abia State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, or CAN, is Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma.
Speaking on Thursday during the State Executive Committee’s induction, Apostle Sampson Fatokun Adetunji, General Secretary of CAN Worldwide, cautioned the newly appointed members to uphold and prioritize righteousness in the performance of their duties.
He said that wickedness, which has crept into the church as well, is the scourge of Nigerian leadership.
In order to succeed as leaders, the priest urged members of the Christian Association of Nigeria’s Abia executive committee to model virtue.

Adetunji also urged the five church blocks that make up CAN to unite and assist the newly elected Abia executive committee leaders in carrying out the mission that God’s children have given them.
Rev. Ojo Uduma, the CAN chairman for Abia, praised the state’s churches during his speech for giving him the exceptional chance to head the CAN in the state.
