2. BT-Cowpea:

3. BT-Cotton:

Deploying a pest-resistant cotton variety, the Minister aims to revolutionize cotton production, with expectations to boost output tenfold while drastically reducing insecticide usage. This initiative holds the promise of transforming Nigeria’s cotton industry.

4. Tropical Fruits & Economic Trees:

In a bid to diversify agricultural production, the Minister has developed protocols for mass production of tropical fruits and economic tree seedlings, laying the groundwork for sustainable agribusiness opportunities.

5. Cassava and Potato Value Chain:

Enhancing processing facilities and establishing new plants in Nasarawa and Ondo states, the Minister is strengthening the cassava and potato value chain, unlocking new avenues for value addition and export opportunities.

6. Nigeria’s First full-body Hybrid UAV:

In a groundbreaking collaboration with NARSDA, Nigeria has developed the NeagleEx1, the nation’s first full-body hybrid UAV, alongside a Quadcopter UAV tailored for agricultural applications. These technological innovations promise to revolutionize agriculture monitoring and management, positioning Nigeria at the forefront of agricultural innovation.
