Prince Chima Ibezim, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Diaspora Chapter for the Italy Chapter, has encouraged party leaders and stakeholders in Enugu to find a solution to the problem that is roiling the party in the state. In a statement released on Friday in Lagos, Ibezim—who also serves as the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen’s Financial Director—made the request. He assigned participants the duty of bolstering the party in the state and the South East.
Ibezim encouraged everyone to embrace peace rather than splinter the party in the state and the area, even if he described the current issue in the chapter as regrettable. To develop the APC in the South East, he pleaded with party members to constantly collaborate and work with dependable and devoted party leaders in the area. He listed Ginika Tor and the Commissioner for Enugu State on the Federal Character Commission (FCC) as examples of these leaders.

He claimed that the politician had put in a great deal of effort both in the South East and throughout Nigeria to bring about the Renewed Hope regime. According to Ibezim, the South-East should be more cohesive and strategically positioned under President Bola Tinubu in order to maximise benefits and contribute greater value from the current government. He begged the Progressive Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Hope Uzodinma, the Minister of Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, and other well-meaning South-East party leaders to use their good offices to address the current issues in the Enugu chapter.
