Anthony Joshua Set to Battle Fury/Usyk Winner after Daniel Dubois Fight

Eddie Hearn, the renowned boxing promoter, has unveiled plans for Anthony Joshua’s next bout. Joshua is slated to square off against the victor of the Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk match, assuming he triumphs over Daniel Dubois in their scheduled bout in September.

Joshua’s most recent ring appearance saw him deliver a stunning knockout against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in March, solidifying his status as a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.

During a recent interview with The Sun, Hearn reiterated their unwavering commitment to seeing Joshua reclaim the coveted world heavyweight title.

“Anthony Joshua Could Face Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk” – Promoter

Hearn stated, “I anticipate the winner of the December fight to go up against Anthony Joshua, provided he emerges victorious in September. While the opponent is yet to be finalized, there are three or four contenders in consideration. Nevertheless, our foremost objective is to reclaim the world heavyweight title, with an eye on achieving undisputed status.”

In a groundbreaking match last month, Usyk emerged triumphant over Fury, clinching victory via split decision. This monumental win catapulted Usyk into the annals of boxing history, making him the first pugilist since Lennox Lewis in 1999 to unify the heavyweight division. Usyk’s conquest saw him wrest the WBC title from Fury, adding to his existing collection of WBA (Super), WBO, IBF, and IBO titles.
