Renowned for his role in the long-running TV soap “General Hospital,” actor Johnny Wactor tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in Los Angeles.
Wactor, aged 37, was fatally shot during a robbery gone awry on Saturday.
According to reports, Wactor intervened in what he believed to be a towing of his car by masked thieves, who then opened fire.
The incident occurred as Wactor was leaving a rooftop bar with a female colleague in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department disclosed that the assailants, still at large, fled the scene following the shooting.
Despite prompt medical attention, Wactor was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
The masked suspects remain unidentified as investigations continue into this tragic event.
