Osita Obi, a prominent human rights activist and leader of the Recover Nigeria Project, has applauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State for his significant achievements in infrastructure and development across the state.
During a media tour showcasing the governor’s projects, Obi highlighted the visible improvements in infrastructure and public services under Soludo’s leadership. He emphasized that the governor has been diligent in keeping his campaign promises, particularly in transforming Anambra’s infrastructure to match the standards of cities like Dubai and Taiwan.
Obi stated, “Governor Soludo has been relentless in his efforts to uplift Anambra. His administration has made remarkable progress in areas such as infrastructure, health, education, and youth employment. It is evident in the completed projects we visited, including new roads, water schemes, and upgraded health facilities.”
Residents of Anambra have expressed satisfaction with these developments. Mr. Oreke Chinedu, a resident of Awba-Ofemili, mentioned that the newly constructed roads have greatly improved accessibility and attracted investors to the area. Chief Ambrose Nweke, another local, praised Soludo for his attention to previously neglected communities and expressed support for his re-election.

The inspection tour also included notable projects like the Aroma Flyover, renovations at Alex Ekwueme Square, the new Government House, and the development of Soludo Fun City. According to Engr. Chidi Paul, the renovation of Alex Ekwueme Square is expected to be completed in ten months. Additionally, Dr. Ebuka Nwankwo, Special Adviser on Special Projects, noted that the new Government House would significantly enhance productivity in the state.
Obi concluded by urging the people of Anambra to support Governor Soludo’s ongoing efforts and give him the time needed to complete his transformative agenda.
