Abia Governor Otti Prioritizes Good Governance and Development over Conflict

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State emphasized his administration’s commitment to good governance and development during a recent visit by various groups and supporters in Nvosi. Otti clarified that his focus is on recovering misappropriated funds and advancing the progress of Abia State, rather than engaging in confrontations.

 

He highlighted his administration’s efforts to hold accountable those responsible for looting public funds, including the N10 billion allocated for the abandoned Abia airport project. Otti stressed the importance of utilizing recovered funds for the benefit of the state’s development projects.

 

Additionally, Otti announced plans to commence a medical city project aimed at providing advanced medical care to residents and attracting individuals with serious health issues to Abia State.

Hon. Rowland Chiwendu, Member representing Isialangwa South State Constituency, expressed support for Otti’s initiatives, acknowledging the positive impact of ongoing reconstruction projects in the area. Other local government officials echoed similar sentiments, praising Otti’s leadership and describing his efforts as transformative for Abia State.

 

As Abia sets the pace for progress and development under Otti’s leadership, stakeholders expressed optimism for a brighter future, highlighting the state’s emergence as a model for others to emulate.
