Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, located in Ilorin, a Catholic secondary school, proudly reveals its high-achieving students in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Out of over 8,000 students nationwide achieving this milestone, 30 students from the school have scored impressively between 300 and 355 points, showcasing their academic excellence.

Reverend Father Jude Okeh, sharing the results on X, expressed delight, stating, “In the midst of the JAMB saga, we have this from one of the Catholic schools. There is a lot more.”

The top scorers include Fasesin Ayomiposi and Kunle-Olawepo Ayomikun, leading with 355 points. Notable performers like Adelodun Oluwadarasimi, Ayejuto Daniel, and Idris Jamaaldeen have also excelled, scoring 341, 333, and 330 points, respectively.

Netizens have hailed this achievement as significant, especially amidst recent reports from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) indicating a large number of candidates failing to meet the 200-point mark out of 400.

JAMB emphasizes the UTME’s role as a ranking examination and warns against counterfeit result slips, emphasizing that official results are not printed on paper.
