Enyimba Economic City First Phase is Ready to Take-Off With Geometric Power AIPP Ready

Enyimba Economic City Development Company FZE, the developers of Enyimba Economic City, a 9,803-hectare Greenfield Special Economic Zone in Abia State, congratulates Geometric Power on the official commissioning of Aba Integrated Power Project (AIPP). The project is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) of Crown Realties Plc, Abia State Government, and Federal Government of Nigeria under the Made in Nigeria for Export (MINE) program of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

For the purpose of supplying power around-the-clock, the Aba Integrated Power Project ringfenced nine local governments in Abia State, including the commercial and industrial center of Aba. AIPP is a full utility company by the ringfence, including the generation, distribution, and marketing aspects of the power business’s value chain. On Monday, February 26, 2024, in the honorable presence of Nigeria’s President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, an 188 MW gas-powered generation facility will be officially opened in Osisioma, Aba, Abia State.

Businesses and dignitaries from all throughout the nation are expected to attend the event.
