Following thorough and meticulous investigations, detectives from the Imo State Police Command have detained three suspects, identified as Joseph Onyema,’m’, 35 years old, Uzoma Nwanoreze,’m’, 30 years old, and Eberechukwu Nwosu,’m’, 43 years old, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl (name withheld).
Police investigation showed that the suspects had multiple instances of illicit sexual contact with the girl, which caused her to sustain severe injuries as a virgin and contract an STD.
At the hospital, the sufferer is presently receiving extensive medical attention. When a covert investigation is finished, the suspects will face justice.

The state commissioner of police for Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, called on well-meaning Imo State residents to assist the police in their fight against defilement, rape, and other sexually related crimes in the state, while also denouncing the barbaric acts in their entirety, according to ASP Okoye Henry, the spokesperson for the state police command, who confirmed the incident. He said that this kind of social threat is totally abhorrent and that anyone who engage in it would be held accountable by the law.
